Description

Town of Salem is a browser-based, multiplayer game of social deduction and strategy. Inspired by "Mafia" and "Werewolf," players are randomly assigned to one of 33 unique roles across three main alignments: Town, Mafia, and Neutrals.

The goal of the Town members is to find and execute the evildoers before they are killed off. The catch? You don't know who is on your team and who is a villain. You must use your unique abilities, chat logs, and logic to lie, detect lies, and survive.

How to Play & Instructions

• Phases: The game alternates between Day and Night.

  • Day: Players discuss who they think is "suspicious." You can vote to put a player on trial. If they are voted guilty, they are executed.

  • Night: Most roles use their specific abilities (e.g., Doctors heal, Mafia kills, Investigators check identities).

• The Will: Every player has a "Last Will." If you die, your will is revealed to everyone. Use it to leave clues about what you discovered or who you suspect.

• Trial: If a player is put on trial, they have a short time to defend themselves before the Town votes Guilty, Innocent, or Abstain.
